Wisewalk Foundation

Sage Grey Finance Limited is proud to partner with Wisewalk Foundation, a visionary non-profit organization that specializes in trauma-informed counseling and empowerment programs for teens and youth in Nigeria. Sage Grey Finance’s strategic partnership with Balaah Hope Initiative for Child Adolescent Health Limited GTE illustrates our unwavering commitment to shaping a brighter future for Nigeria’s children and youth. As a non-profit organization dedicated to providing advisory health services and improving the lives of adolescents, Balaah Hope’s mission aligns seamlessly with our impact-driven CSR strategy. By joining forces, we aim to address critical societal challenges, focusing on child and adolescent health while advancing several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)

Our collaboration extends beyond traditional philanthropy. Through targeted initiatives, we provide essential funding for the distribution of schoolbags, uniforms, textbooks, and writing materials to primary school students across Lagos, Nigeria. This strategic investment in education not only enhances access to quality learning resources but also contributes to reducing inequalities by leveling the playing field for students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. As part of our CSR initiative in celebration of the 2024 Children’s Day, the Sage Grey team visited Tender cradle School, Ikeja.

World Environmental Day

World Environment Day is an opportunity to reflect on the inalienability of environmental sustainability to our collective wellbeing. To mark this event, the Sage Grey Finance Limited donated environmental sanitation materials to LAWMA workers to support the movement towards a cleaner world.

World Sickle Cell Awareness Day with Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria.

In commemoration of World Sickle Cell Day, Sage Grey Finance Team visited Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria and made donations of One Hundred Naira (100,000) to promote awareness and support for the sickle cell community.

Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) Tree Planting Day 2024

In commemoration of the Tree Planting Initiative, Sage Grey Finance Supported the LASPARK Tree Planting Day event by making a 50,000 Donation for the planting of 2 trees to promote green environment. A tree planting exercise held on Friday, 9th of August, 2024.

We supported and celebrated with the Best Graduating Students of Victoria Island Junior/Senior Secondary School. The Awardees received cash rewards of 25,000 each, with Award certificates.

World Humanitarian Day with Living Fountain Orphanage

To mark World Humanitarian Day on August 19, 2024, we visited Living Fountain Orphanage, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos to show support and solidarity with vulnerable children and humanitarian workers. We donated food items to the orphanage to encourage and to bring smiles to their faces.

Sage Grey Finance enlisted Mummy Rahama as one of its CSR Beneficiary. To This effect, a donation of 50,000 will be donated monthly for a period of 6months, subject to renewal if the usage of fund is satisfactory.

End Of Year CSR visit to Part of Solution School and Orphanage, Makoko Community

Sequel to the End of Year CSR activity in Makoko Community, the team coach of Makstar FC, Makoko reached out to ask for donation towards grassroot football development. Donation of Training Kits to Imperial FA, Odogbolu Ogun State

On Friday, 28th of February, 2025, we visited the camp of Imperial FA in Odogbolu, Ogun State, to handover branded training kits to the team. This donation is made towards supporting grassroot football and to serve as a motivation for the players. Also, we are driving brand visibility as the training kits have the Sage Grey logo boldly imprinted on them.

World Down Syndrome Celebration Day with Mo Rainbow Down Syndrome Foundation

To commemorate this year’s World Down Syndrome Day, we partnered with the Mo Rainbow Down Syndrome Foundation to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. People with Down syndrome may experience developmental delays and certain health challenges, but with the right support, they can lead fulfilling, meaningful lives. Many individuals with the condition thrive in school, the workplace, and social environments when given inclusive opportunities and understanding. In support of this mission, we donated ₦100,000 to the Mo Rainbow Down Syndrome Foundation to aid their impactful work in education, therapy, and community engagement for children and families living with Down syndrome. Together, we continue to advocate for a more inclusive and compassionate society.

On March 12, 2025, our company partnered with Freee Impact Foundation to donate 50 recycled sandals to students of Morit International School in Ajegunle, Lagos State. The initiative was part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact. The sandals, made from recycled materials, not only promote eco-friendly practices but also support under-resourced communities. We chose Morit International School due to its dedication to providing quality education to children in low-income areas. During our visit, we had the privilege of engaging with the students and distributing the sandals in person; a moment that truly reflected the power of community and responsible innovation.

Donation of Mosquito Nets at Primary Health Surulere for World Malaria Day 2025

On March 12, 2025, our company partnered with Freee Impact In celebration of World Malaria Day, we visited the Primary Health Care Centre in Akerele, Surulere, to support the fight against malaria through the distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets. During the outreach, we also engaged with community members on effective malaria prevention strategies. This initiative reflects our company’s commitment to building healthier, more resilient communities by providing preventive resources to those most at risk. World Hunger Day Partnership with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative

In commemoration of Children’s Day and World Hunger Day, Sage Grey Finance Limited, under its “Nutrition for Learning” initiative, partnered with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative through the Edufood Programme to provide nutritious meals to over 200 pupils from three (3) low-income schools in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos State. The programme focused on nutrition and educational outcomes, targeting children who are most vulnerable to the challenges of hunger and limited access to quality education. The provision of nutritious meals was not only intended to support physical wellbeing but to enhance the motivation to learn, classroom engagement, and school attendance among the students.

We hosted our Advancing Impact Walkathon, themed: Walk for Impact. The walk showcased our commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement.

This isn’t just a walk, it’s a movement. Every step taken, every mile covered, represents a commitment to driving meaningful impact and building a sustainable future. Our ‘Walk for Impact’ Walkathon aligns with our commitment to impact finance, mobilizing resources to address pressing social and environmental challenges.

Sage Grey Finance Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme

Sage Grey Finance has awarded scholarships to five outstanding students of the University of Lagos as part of the inaugural edition of its Undergraduate Scholarship Programme. The award ceremony which took place at the university’s main campus reflects the company’s deep commitment to human capital development and the use of finance as a catalyst for positive social change. The scholarship programme, targeted at high-performing students in Management Sciences and Engineering, provided a financial grant of ₦100,000 each to five deserving undergraduates. The beneficiaries were selected based on academic excellence, with a minimum CGPA requirement of 4.0 and a screening process that excluded those already benefiting from other scholarships.

Support for People Living with Sickle Cell

In commemoration of World Sickle Cell Awareness Day, we visited Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative to show support and learn more about the impactful projects being carried out to uplift those living with Sickle Cell. Sickle Cell affects millions across the globe, with Sub-Saharan Africa bearing the highest burden. In Nigeria, over 150,000 babies are born with the condition each year, many without access to the care and support they need. Our visit was a reminder that awareness is not just about knowledge; it’s about empathy, action, and amplifying the voices of warriors who live with courage every day.
