Profile

Yemisi Adeola Johnson is the Head, Advisory & Treasury at Sage Grey Finance Limited, where she leads the Company’s advisory and treasury functions, with responsibility for project finance, corporate finance, capital structuring, treasury management, financial analysis, and strategic financial advisory. She works closely with clients, financial institutions, investors, development finance institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders to structure and execute financing solutions that support business growth and investment objectives.
She brings over 10 years of experience across financial services, corporate finance, project finance and treasury, with expertise in capital raising, transaction structuring, financial modelling and credit analysis. Her sector experience spans oil and gas, power, manufacturing, technology, agriculture, waste recycling and infrastructure.
Yemisi joined Sage Grey in 2019 as an Analyst, Research & Finance and has progressed through various strategic roles to her current position as Head, Advisory & Treasury. Following the Company’s transition to a CBN-licensed finance company, she took on increasing leadership responsibilities within the Advisory function, including leading a multidisciplinary team and overseeing project finance, corporate advisory, and credit-related engagements.
As part of her role at Sage Grey, she has been involved in a range of significant transactions, including advisory and capital structuring for a greenfield gas processing project that secured US$16.65 million in equity and ₦31 billion in debt financing. She has also supported the development and financing of power and infrastructure projects, facilitated commercial and development finance funding for clients, and led engagements with development finance institutions on funding and on-lending facilities. Her experience also includes processing and analysing over 200 credit facilities across multiple industries.
She holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Lagos State University and is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She has undertaken professional development programmes in infrastructure and project finance, credit and financial analysis, and business management, including programmes with Lagos Business School, KRC Limited, CRC Credit Bureau, and Tekedia Institute
